March Newsletter – Printed copies are available today on the literature stands in the Church Good Shepherd Foyer, Church Gathering Space, and the Education Building Foyer, and on the small table by the telephone in the Church Social Room.

Attention Men! The special music for Sunday, March 20, will be a male chorus. All men that like to sing are invited to join the men of the choir for presenting this special piece. Fifteen minute rehearsals are planned for 7 p.m. (the first 15 minutes of the regular choir rehearsal) on Wednesdays, March 2, 9, and 16, in the Church Sanctuary. Please plan to come and join the men of the choir for this one-time presentation. It will be fun! – Winona Godfrey, director

Sshhhh – A surprise celebration is planned on Saturday, April 9, to honor Truman Reinoehl for his 45 years of ministry in the Church of the Brethren. Olathe CoB, one of the congregations that he served, will host the event. Additional information: McPherson Church website.

Church of the Brethren Annual Conference is planned for July 2-6, 2011, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. You may register on-line (www.brethren.org/ac) or forms are available in the Church Gathering Space and the Church Office.

 

 

Wednesday Activities Cancelled

All Wednesday evening church activities have been cancelled for tonight (Feb 9, 2011).

The Shane Claiborne event is still being held at the college.

Due to the weather conditions, all activities at the church are being cancelled for this evening, Wednesday, February 2. This includes the adult choir and the Angelus Ringers.

However, Junior and Senior High Youth will meet at 3 p.m. today, at the church, for the Valentine Cookie Baking
