ONE: God calls us to sit at the feet of Jesus.
God calls us to turn our world and its values upside down.
God calls us to strange territory where we are disoriented.
ALL: We come to sit at the feet of Jesus so we can learn to
judge our lives differently.
What Jesus teaches us does not look anything like the life we have been
taught to yearn for, to work for and to believe will bring us happiness.
ONE: May our eyes be opened to God’s unexpected blessings.
May our hearts welcome God who comes to us in strange ways.
ALL: May our lives be filled with life-changing truth.
May we be blessed with God’s living presence.
