Junior High Campers who signed up for transportation to Camp Colorado need to meet on the west side of the Church Education Building on Sunday, June 2, at 7 a.m. Don’t forget to bring spending money for lunch and/or snacks! The group will return to McPherson at approximately 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 8.

Summer Sunday School will be offered by the Faith Formation Team June 2 – July 28. Lela Beam and Pastor Jerry Bowen will co-teach “Just Peace/Restorative Justice.” Bible lessons and scripture will be matched with discussion about practical ways to be peacemakers.

In the Wild: Amazing Encounters with Jesus – Vacation Bible School 2019 is June 3 – 7, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. each day. Children ages 4 years (by June 1) through 5th grade can register at www.macbrethren.org.

“The Science of Human Sexuality” will be presented by Dr. Jonathan Frye on Monday, June 3, 7 p.m., at the Monitor Church of the Brethren. Dr. Frye, a natural science professor at McPherson College, will share the current scientific understanding of how sexuality is manifested in all of creation, with a special emphasis on human sexuality, human development, sex, gender, and definitions of technical terms that are commonly used and often misunderstood.
