About half of Haitians get their water from a communal well,

but fewer people have access to these wells than twenty-five years ago.

Gathering Music

Sharing Time

Focusing Music

Psalm 100/“Alleluia”

 (Alleluia) Make a joyful noise to God, all the earth.

Worship God with gladness; come into God’s presence with singing. (Alleluia)

Know that the Lord is God.

It is God that made us, and we are God’s;

we are God’s people, and the sheep of God’s pasture. (Alleluia)

Enter God’s gates with thanksgiving, and enter God’s courts with praise.

Give thanks to God, bless God’s name. (Alleluia)

For God is good; God’s steadfast love endures forever,

and God’s faithfulness to all generations. (Alleluia)

Scripture Reading    Jan van Asselt – German

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.

He makes me lie down in green pastures;

he leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul.

He leads me in right paths for his name’s sake.

Even though I walk through the darkest valley,

I fear no evil; for you are with me;

 your rod and your staff—they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;

you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,

and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord my whole life long.

Scripture Song

O Christe Domine Jesu”    #113

Scripture Reading    Renata Prose – Spanish

Psalm 121

I lift up my eyes to the hills—from where will my help come?

My help comes from God, who made heaven and earth.

God will not let your foot be moved; God who keeps you will not slumber.

God who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

God is your keeper; God is your shade at your right hand.

The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.

God will keep you from all evil; God will keep your life.

God will keep your going out and your coming in – from this time on and forevermore.

Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. AMEN
