Good Beginnings Preschool Plans for December Activities

Posted November 29th, 2018

The Prekindergarten Family Fun Night, originally scheduled for November 26, was cancelled by the snow storm! It has been rescheduled for Monday, December 3 at 6:30 p.m.  The children will share photos, songs and finger plays, and a snack with their families!

In December, all the children in both classes will have the opportunity to decorate a Christmas tree; create a gift for their parents; hear the Christmas story and retell it with figures or finger puppets; and frost and decorate Christmas cookies. They love to learn and share many Christmas songs such as Away in a Manger, There Was a Little Baby, Ring Those Bells, Drummer Boy, Jack in the Box, and Jingle Bells. Old Christmas cards will provide lots of opportunities for cutting and gluing.

Look for “Wishing Stars” hanging beside the preschool doors. We are saving for new Melissa and Doug cardboard building blocks and a hand-held vacuum besides other little items. Thank you for your ongoing monetary and prayer support!

Blessings to you as you celebrate Christmas and the New Year with family and friends.
