Ventures in Discipleship, McPherson College – The course offering for April will be “Congregations Nurturing a Culture of Call: Why It Matters.” The class will be held online, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. (CST), Saturday, April 14. Joe Detrick, retired District Executive Minister in the Church of the Brethren will be teaching. Classes are donation-based and continuing education credit is available at $10 per course. The passion giving focus for the month of April is McPherson College. The next three Sundays there will be information available about the church’s relationship with the college. In worship on Sunday, April 15, we will welcome McPherson College representatives to personally share in greater depth.

Restorative Kansas: A Vision for Justice, sponsored by Kansas Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (KIPCOR), will be presented on Thursday and Friday, April 19-20. The conference will be held at Bethel College, North Newton. Information: 316.284.5217.
