– Different priorities outside of church

– Unaware of local church needs

– Lack of understanding of tasks/past reputation/burnout

– Feeling of inadequacy to volunteer

Question #2

If building a family community of faith means involvement of its members, how do you think we can attain more engagement (involvement) in our programs and activities? In other words, how can we attract more volunteers?

– Give training so we have trained people to volunteer and have trained people to ask them

– Offer shorter term tasks and clarify tasks

– Make the needs known
