At the McPherson Church of the Brethren, our vision for 2011-2013 is to:
- Realize our potential as peacemakers
- Share our faith with the larger community as well as among ourselves
- Nurture and strengthen our bonds with each other
Goals for our congregation toward realization of the above vision:
- Encourage involvement in the STEPS program in McPherson County
- Explore other ways to address poverty in McPherson County
- Provide a safe environment for our children and youth
- Be a safe place to share diverse opinions and ideas
- Nurture the peace of God within each of us
- Model healthy conflict resolution
- Promote good stewardship of the planet
- Share our faith stories in worship and other settings
- Organize small groups around passions, projects, issues and activities
- Develop intergenerational groups and activities
