McPherson College seniors Rebecca Grosbach and Jon Neher will be honored at a graduation reception today, following McPherson College Commencement. The church family is invited to join them at The North Cedars Down Under Room, 1225½ Darlow Drive.
Two members of the Church History Book Project Group will be at a table in the Good Shepherd Foyer today and again on May 30, June 6, and June 13, for the purpose of collecting from those who want to buy a copy (or copies) of the book. Cost is $14.00 per book, including the supplemental computer disc. Write your check to “McPherson Church of the Brethren” with “History Book” on the memo line. Publication is scheduled for August. Calling all children, ages 4 years (as of June 1st) through fifth grade — Hero Headquarters, Vacation Bible School 2010! The House for Haiti Project has received $3,995 of the $6,000 needed to build a 3-room home. Sending the funds to Haiti helps stimulate their economy, since Brethren Disaster Ministries buys local materials and hires local people to build the house. Thanks to all who’ve contributed so far.
