Help Save the Planet! Earth Day Tip #22, shared by the Philo Class: Buy one organic produce item this week and help the earth and your body steer clear of pesticides. Try organic apples and grapes as typically they do not hold lots of pesticides.
Two members of the Church History Book Project Group will be at a table in the Good Shepherd Foyer today and again on June 6 and June 13, for the purpose of collecting from those who want to buy a copy (or copies) of the book. Cost is $14.00 per book, including the supplemental computer disc. Write your check to “McPherson Church of the Brethren” with “History Book” on the memo line. Publication is scheduled for August. A workshop for understanding and reviewing the proposed revision to our district organizational structure is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 6, in the Church Community Room. Bob Dell, District Moderator-Elect, will be the presenter. The paper was originally presented to last year’s District Conference. Small groups raised numerous questions and made suggestions. As a result the paper has been updated and the changes have been approved by the District Board for recommendation to the next District Conference. The workshop is open to everyone.

The House for Haiti Project is over two-thirds of the way toward our $6,000 goal!
