While Janice Friesen is on vacation, August 7-11, the Church Office will be closed on Monday, August 7. The remainder of the week, the office will be staffed by pastoral staff and volunteers. Pastors’ Chris and Kathryn will also be available by phone.

Outreach Team reminds you that School Superheroes are back in action! School supplies requested are: crayons, kleenex, pencils, erasers, notebooks and rulers. A collection container is located in the Church Gathering Space.

During the past fifteen years, the CoB has been assisting with Meals On Wheels every 2nd and 5th Saturday of the month.  Due to health concerns, some of our most dedicated volunteers have been unable to continue.  Therefore, we need additional volunteers. The entire process takes approximately 45 to 90 minutes. You may volunteer monthly, quarterly, or whatever your schedule permits. If interested or for questions, contact Jana Goering (241-4080).  Your response will help determine whether we are able to continue participating in this vital ministry.

The Outreach Team is looking for persons who are interested in coordinating the church’s annual Alternative Christmas Gift Market, which is planned for Saturday, November 11. The ACGM is already organized and only requires coordination via email with participants, publicity, set-up and oversight of the event. On the day of the market, the event is run by 5-6 volunteers, who serve as greeters, assist with payments, and provide snacks.   • Sign-Up Sheets – Available in the Church Good Shepherd Foyer on July 30 and August 6
  • Wear clothing appropriate for how you intend to serve.
