Carl Johnson, grandfather of Kate Johnson, died on Thursday, July 25. Please remember Kate and her family, Bob, Kelli and Parker, in your prayers.
Brenda French died on Monday, July 23. The memorial service in Buffalo, New York, is planned for Monday, July 30. A second service will be held in McPherson, at the church, on Thursday, August 2 at 7 p.m. We wish to express our sympathy to her husband, Gary; children, Gregory and Amy; parents, Dean and Madonna Reynolds; brother, Brian; and extended family members.

The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund has a mission of curing ovarian cancer. Ovarian cancer is such a deadly disease and the Reynolds/French Family truly hopes that a cure can be found. Donations to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund can be made on-line at www.ocrf.org. There is a tab titled “Give your Support” and there is a “Donate Now” link. At the bottom of the donor page is a section on Memorial/Tributes.
Regarding a scholarship fund, Brenda was so involved with the kids’ schools and in particular the Williamsville East High School. She also was very involved with the High School Track and Field Team and established the Track & Field Booster Club to support the team. Memorials may be given to Williamsville East High School with “Track and Field Scholarship Fund” written in the memo line of your check. We think this honors Brenda and she would be very pleased with this.
Other donations may also be given to a charity of the donors choice.
