•CoB Mission and Ministry Board weekly prayer request:
The world seems smaller than ever before, and events around the globe reach us in seconds. It is easy to want to retreat into ourselves and our own little groups. Yet the vision of the church in Acts and Revelation encompasses all people and all places. As part of the CoB in the US, we are part of a global community of Brethren. Each day this week give thanks and pray for our sisters and brothers everywhere.
In This World
•Pray for the four northern states in Nigeria where terrorist-type violence exists. Pray for the Nigerian Brethren, their congregations, pastors, denominational leaders, and CoB mission worker, Carol Smith.
•On-going conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq
•Continuing prayers for our brothers and sisters in North and south Sudan
•Our brothers and sisters in Christ in Brazil, Haiti, Dominican Republic, India, Nigeria, and Sudan
•Palestinians and Israelis experiencing violence; may hearts be opened for a new way
