In mid-December I traveled to Bakersfield, CA, for a meeting of Anabaptist moderators and general secretaries. The gathering was hosted by the Mennonite Brethren. After that I stayed a little longer to be with the folks at the Bakersfield Church of the Brethren. From breakfast at 7:15 AM until the last drop was gone at the after-Worship Potluck, a nice day.
